Starting a new painting

STARTING A NEW ARTWORK

When I start painting, I like to prepare first the air, first some Incense and Mantras to clean the mind & aura, this helps me to get more creative since it soothes and calms... To refreshen up for this hot days a jar of Lemon Grass Tea it´s just perfect... Then I stand in front of the canvass, and think.. what am I going to do with you to transform you into a gorgeous piece? I start thinking of a color that inspires me at the moment, then I just star painting, playing with colors and forms I think that everything is spontaneous, thats what makes my art so fun and enjoyable... have a great saturday!

Humor, Laughter Teraphy

Artwork: Happy Sesen

Patients, doctors and health-care professionals are all finding that laughter may indeed be the best medicine.

Laughing is found to lower blood pressure, reduce stress hormones, increase muscle flexion, and boost immune function by raising levels of infection-fighting T-cells, disease-fighting proteins called Gamma-interferon and B-cells, which produce disease-destroying antibodies. Laughter also triggers the release of endorphins, the body's natural painkillers, and produces a general sense of well-being.

Laughter is infectious. Hospitals around the country are incorporating formal and informal laughter therapy programs into their therapeutic regimens. In countries such as India, laughing clubs -- in which participants gather in the early morning for the sole purpose of laughing -- are becoming as popular as Rotary Clubs in the United States.

Humor is a universal language. It's a contagious emotion and a natural diversion. It brings other people in and breaks down barriers. Best of all it is free and has no known side reactions.

Positive Thinking

I´ve reads books and articles about the Power of Positive Thinking...

How did I discover it?

It all started when I was going thought a difficult time in my life, that my beautiful Mom (who is the best mother in the world, always there for us, teaching us, helping us and loving us with all her heart) ... she always told me that no matter the situation, no matter what was going on around me, that I must learn how to think positive about myself and about my "world" that I could really change what I was living, with a clear mind you always can make the best decisions, and that takes time to learn (tell me about it!)... and so I did.. slowly all the negative situations, all the negative people that were around me at that time, finally were gone... Now I only choose to have positive friends, positive people around me, because I know how a negative person can affect my life and contaminate all the things I´ve been working for...

Im telling you this because, thanks to this teachings and experiences, with so much patinece and persistence or practice, all that you wish in your life sooner or later comes true, maybe not in the exact way you were thinking but they will come to you.

Remember that nothing it´s impossible in this life

A book I recomend: "The Monk who sold his Ferrari"

Beautiful book a must in your library...

Color Therapy in Art - Colors for your Soul

Color is Light Energy that Affects Living Cells

This means that color can be used for healing and holistic practices dating back in ancient Egypt. Science have stated that light has its frequency and vibration, and we can take advantage of color therapy, by using it in our homes.

What is Color Therapy? It is simply an art of bringing overall wellness through the use of colors. The home is the perfect place to apply this concept, since it is the place where you rest, live and play - or work for some.

How to use Color Therapy? You can start by choosing colors that attract you and using it for your home's color scheme. It might surprise you that your body emits an energy field in colors, and what you don't like most is the color that is most abundant in your energy field. It may be hard when you like a lot of colors, but take that time to select your soul color.

What is the right color for you? If you are still having a tough time choosing that perfect color, look at the colors and observe the type of feeling a certain color gives you. If you want your bedroom to be comfy and vibrant at the same time, you can use neutral hues like cream, white and taupe to unify the colors. You can also do a collage of the colors you have chosen to see how the combination feels.

Colors and its Health Benefits:

Blue is a soothing color that gives a sense of peace and calm. The lighter it is, the better. In holistic practices, it is said to relieve anxiety, fever, and respiratory problem. This color is great for bedrooms and living areas. If you don't like blue, you can use red to balance it.

Red is the color of blood, and it is believed to help in blood flow and sexual drive. It is the color of strength and power. You may use this color discretely in your home by using accents of this shade.

Yellow is great for the nerves and promotes sharpness of the mind. It is a color that cleanses negative energy and toxins from the body. Yellow can also be chosen in the form of gold, which helps you feel assertive. This color is great for foyers, great rooms and living rooms.

Green is a color that balances all other colors. No wonder it feels good to have indoor plants inside the home. It makes you feel fresh, even on a 40 degree summer heat.

Orange is an energy booster and not too drastic like the color red. It is a color of creativity and joy, which can be perfect to brighten up that sad, boring space. You can use this color in your home office.

Violet is the color of wisdom, and it brings your mind and body to rest. This color is great for those suffering migraine or insomnia. For a feminine touch, hues of lavender can be used in the bedroom for that charm and serenity.
